So much to do...so little time!
I know, I know I'm so so far behind on blogging. We've got so many pictures to post since January. It's hard to choose just a few to share. I'll be working on that the next few days.

Christmas Day
Pookie wanted everyone to sleep over at our home so we can wake up early and have breakfast and then open gifts. We started off by Pook reading the Birth of Jesus! Then she was in charge of handing out gifts one at a time oldest to youngest! So many presents!!!! Thank you to our whole family!

Twas the night before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring....only mom, dad, grandma and granpa! A Reeves tradition is to open ONE gift on Christmas Eve. Pook wrote a letter Santa explaining how good she'd been with parents but not too good to her brother so she explained why she wouldn't be able to get "EVERYTHING" on her list. Well, "we Santas" sure enjoyed the cookies she baked and the milk she poured! The "reindeer" sure enjoyed making a trail from table to stove. Five minutes past midnight we each opened a gift starting from oldest to youngest! Grandma enjoyed her Pinwheel cookies from Santa, Uppi loved his Dates from Santa. Dad loved his coffee mug and green tea from Auntie Santa Nadine. Mom enjoyed her 300 piece puzzle from Santa Nadine. Sam LOVED his present from Santa! A remote control car. LOL Mitchell loved his puzzle from Auntie Nadine and POOKIE LOVED HER LAMP from Santa Nadine! Thank you Nadine for all ur blessings!

Surprise Birthday/Christmas Gift for ME!
YUMMY Venison Jerky
We made deer jerky with the buck that I got this December. For a birthday present dad got me a jerky maker! He squeezed out 15 pounds of jerky onto the trays. We let it sit in smokehouse for a night and smoked it for about 3-4 hours. Then I finished them of by dehydrating them for about 6 hours. THEY WERE SCRUMDIDLYUMPTIOUS!!!!! Thank you mom and dad for all ur help!
My Buck

I shouted for Jeff to back me up. He shot and missed...I took a deep breath, exhaled 1/2 breath...held and shot! The deer jumped and ran into the trees. Dad, Jeff and I searched for the deer a good 10 minutes. While saying a prayer thanking God for His provisions I looked to my right and saw a NICE set of antlers....SHOUTED!!! "WOW! I FOUND IT! LOOK AT THE ANTLERS!!!!" Jeff was so proud! Dad was really proud! We made jerky out of it! Leave it to Jeff to take blurry pictures!!!! That's ok, you can still see the nice buck! My December Buck.
